Kick your shoes off, dig your toes in the sand and get into an Island state of mind. You’ve probably heard his music on Jimmy Buffett’s Radio Margaritaville or on one of the online Troprock radio stations across the U.S. With a rockin’ guitar, a rhythmic steel drum and backup tracks, he performs his own music and popular covers for events, private parties and house concerts. Beach songs, romantic ballads, fun-loving and upbeat Soca and reggae tunes, sailing adventures – Sunny’s songs tell stories of life in the Caribbean and the tropical sunshine.

Sunny Jim has been writing and performing his own music since he was a teenager in California. After college he decided to follow his passion for music and make it a career. After more than a decade on the music scene in Northern California, and a short stint in Nashville, his career path turned south to the Caribbean. For 12 years he lived in the Cayman Islands as artist-in-residence at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman, one of the finest resorts in the Caribbean.  In 2000 he left the expatriate life in the Caribbean and moved to Florida’s beautiful Suncoast, where he now lives.
